Our beloved teether blankie combines both sensory qualities of hard and soft. Young graspers enjoy holding the wooden ring and smooshing the blankie in their hands. When baby begins teething, the wooden ring provides a soothing, hard-but-not-too-hard, natural surface for biting. As your child grows, the small square unties from the wooden ring to become a favorite little lovie.
A buttery soft, organic cotton gauze square is tied to a maple wooden ring specifically designed for teething. Our teething ring is made in the U.S. from maple wood grown and milled in the U.S. We rub it with a mixture of 100% organic jojoba oil and 100% organic beeswax harvested from bees raised in the U.S. Simply untie the blankie from wooden ring for washing. The organic cotton gauze becomes softer as it's repeatedly loved and washed.
The organic cotton square has been hand dyed with organic indigo by willaby designer/owner Kim Woods, in her backyard. No two pieces are alike, each having variations in tone and surface appearance. We consider this a desirable result of the natural dye process.
Please choose between the colors light indigo or deep indigo in the drop-down menu. See photos for light and dark examples.
(Do not leave baby unattended with a teether or blanket. Do not place teething ring in the dishwasher.)
