**One hand-dyed quilt remaining**
- Low-impact, commercially dyed version in the same colors coming this fall!
Our geo quilt is made from eight layers of unbleached cotton gauze with unbelievable loft and softness. Illuminating its center are naturally hand-dyed fabrics, each dyed separately, cut, and assembled into conjoining triangles. It's an object to be snuggled, loved, and treasured; an exquisite gift for babies and children. The generous size of this blanket makes it suitable from newborn to toddler and beyond. It's as wide as our heirloom blanket, but more oblong, making it the size of a crib/toddler quilt.
The pink, yellow, and gray fabrics used for this blanket are hand dyed with natural dyes by willaby designer/owner Kim Woods, in a dye pot. The blue fabric is dyed by Kim in an organic indigo vat. No two hand-dyed fabrics alike, each having variations in tone and surface appearance. We consider this a desirable result of the natural hand-dye process.

*The puckered state of gauze is achieved with washing and drying. Launder your gauze item in a cold, delicate cycle and tumble dry low. Voilà, you have puckered gauze! The weave of the fabric will appear flat prior to washing, will pucker up with laundering, and may continue to pucker up more with the next wash and dry--achieving the appearance you see in our product photos. (We include this information on an insert with each product.)
